The holidays are nearly upon us, meaning we’ll soon be seeing PUH-LENTY of festive wardrobes hues, from greens and reds to glitzy golds and silvers. Big Little Lies stars Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are definitely getting into the Christmas spirit, opting for the latter with complementing gowns featuring metallic-colored sparkles that had us feeling all aglow.
Showing up to the Gotham Independent Film Awards together Monday night, the starlets clasped hands as they walked the red carpet in equally stunning ensembles. Kidman, 50, opted for a silver-sequined Altuzarra frock with a black bodice and fringed hem, a matching Altuzarra bag, strappy Chloe Gosselin shoes, Fred Leighton jewels, and an Omega watch.
Witherspoon, meanwhile, chose a black Oscar de la Renta shift dress with gold foil detailing, Christian Louboutin pumps, a Michael Kors bag, and Tiffany & Co. bling.
Witherspoon, 41, presented her longtime gal pal with the Actress Tribute award with a sweet introduction, saying, “I’ve been one of her biggest fans since I saw one of her very first movies, Dead Calm… I saw this movie, and I thought, ‘That is my hero, that is the kind of woman I want to be.’” Kidman was just as complimentary, telling her friend, “To know you is to love you, baby.”
