It’s Time! Register Now for Re:Make San Francisco!
Hi, I'm Brit, the founder and CEO of Brit + Co. I'm a young mom of two, tech nerd and design-inclined lady who has a zillion hobbies and curious about... just about everything! My mission from the beginning has been to unlock women's creativity and courage to try new things so that they can find the path to their true passions.
Last year, we launched our flagship event series, Re:Make, right here in San Francisco. It was an incredible experience that brought together makers, designers, technologists, chefs, and inventors from across the country for a two-day conference + festival that I will never forget!
This September, we’re bringing Re:Make back to San Francisco and we’ve been hard at work here at Brit HQ to make this year’s event even better! We’ll have the same format as last year: Day One will be an invite-only conference with speakers, demonstrations and interactive panels. Day Two will be a maker festival, open to the general public, with over 100 makers showcasing their products, hands-on DIY workshops, and the ability for all attendees to make all kinds of fun projects… all for free!
The theme of this year’s event is The Maker (R)evolution: Exploring Technology, Creativity and the Future of Making. On Friday, September 12th, we’ll dive into a discussion on how the maker movement is at a tipping point as technology continues to shape our creative processes and how we make. We’ll hear from the entrepreneurs, visionaries, inventors and brands leading the way in their fields and learn how they, and we as makers, will shape the future.
Can we talk about our speaker line-up again? It’s a-mazing! Here are just a few of the speakers we’ll have at the event. Stay tuned for several more that will be announced in the coming weeks:
photo booths galore
killer DIY stations, the latest tech for you to check out, and awesome (free) refreshments. I can’t guarantee there WON’T be a few robots wandering the floor, either ;)- Ben Kaufman, Founder + CEO, Quirky
- Eileen Gittens, Founder, President + CEO, Blurb
- Ido Leffler, Author, Investor + Co-founder, Say Yes To Carrots, Yoobi + Soma Water
- Kandee Johnson, YouTube Personality
