Re:Make Update: Michelle Phan + Day One Agenda
Believe it or not, we’re less than a month away from our first major Brit + Co. event, Re:Make. In 25 short days, some of your favorite makers, designers, technologists, chefs, and inventors will take the Re:Make stage. Together, we’ll celebrate how “making” has changed over the past few years, thanks to technology. On October 4th and 5th, you’re invited to join us for inspirational conversations, makers’ workshops, and other fabulous surprises. You’ll also get to see and shop products from makers across the country while learning a few new DIY skills of your own.
This week, we have three big Re:Make updates to share. First, six new speakers will be joining us. The first happens to be Michelle Phan. That’s right! Your favorite digital make-up artist and YouTube vlogger will take the stage with Brit in a fireside chat to discuss how the web is helping us transform ourselves. Along with Michelle, here are a few more speakers we’re excited to announce:
Jordan Ferney, founder and editor at Oh Happy Day
Katie Hintz-Zambrano, Senior West Coast Editor of Refinery29
Kacie Hultgren, founder of PrettySmallThings
Jesse Genet, founder and creator of Inkodye
Isaiah Saxon, co-founder and Chief Creative of DIY.org
Now that we’ve got all these incredible speakers in the room, what will they be talking about? That brings us to our second announcement: the official Re:Make agenda. From food demonstrations to project sessions and fireside chats—we’ve got a jam-packed day for all you ladies and gents. Take a quick look.
