Rhode Resort’s self-proclaimed “getaway wear” is the kind of vacation-inspired fare that just makes a girl want to jet off to an exotic locale, so it’s no wonder that the label counts celebrities and Insta It-girls among its many fans. Having been spotted on everyone from Beyoncé to Kelly Rowland to Gal Meets Glam’s Julia Engel, the brand has made a name for itself with vibrant, colorful, and embroidered ready-to-wear. Now, co-founders Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers have their sights set on the accessories game, and they’re starting with drawstring pouches in some of their killer signature prints.
As part of the Resort 2018 collection, the debut bags, like The Pouch ($65) seen here, are as functional as they are fashionable. With four pockets on the inside ready to keep your phone, wallet, keys, and makeup all firmly in place, get ready to want one in every color.
Truth be told, they’re called “Travel Pouches” but we’re pretty sure we would carry these all year. Cute quilting and super playful patterns? Rhode Resort is poised to give Vera Bradley some friendly competition.
The travel pouches start at $65 and are available in three prints at RhodeResort.com as of now. For a first foray into accessories, this is a pretty auspicious start. And we can’t wait to see what’s next.
