Rihanna is here to help you through your next breakup. Of course, you could just play her tunes (or any of your fave breakup songs) to give yourself a needed boost. Or, like one lucky fan, you could get advice directly from the fabulous RiRi herself.
“How did you get over your first heartbreak? I’ve been struggling,” @WaladShami admitted to the singer via direct message. And while we just wanna give him a big hug, Rihanna took the time to reply to her fan with a completely thoughtful and helpful response.
“Just believe that the heartbreak was a gift in itself!” she began. “Cry if you have to, but it won’t be forever!” Sympathetic + fair + optimistic = perfect breakup advice.

From there, her words were worthy of lyrics from one of her hits. “You will find love again and it will be even more beautiful!” she wrote. “In the meantime enjoy all that YOU are!!!!” This is pretty great advice. And it doesn’t feel like it came from a wildly famous celeb — it feels like a heartfelt message from a caring bestie.
No wonder Rihanna’s followers are so utterly devoted. It’s pretty darn clear that she loves her fans as much as they love her.
