Between her musical endeavors, acting (the 29-year-old starred in Valerian earlier this year), and fashion line, Rihanna has been steadily building an empire. As of September 8, it just got bigger with the introduction of her makeup line, Fenty Beauty ($16-54). The global brand, which is centered on inclusivity, dropped in 1,600 stores spanning 17 countries. At its crux is what Riri calls “The Fenty Face,” a three-step method for creating a perfectly radiant look, using a soft matte "Filt'r," a highlighting sheen, and blotting products. “The Fenty Face was created for women of all skin tones, of all personalities,” she said in a press release. Scroll through to see all the covetable shoppable pieces out now!
Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer ($32): Smooth pores and even skin tone/texture with the lightweight makeup prepper. “I wanted this primer to feel soft and moisturizing at the same time, as well as do the job of keeping makeup on,” Rihanna says.
Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($34): Choose from 40 (!!) shades of this light, oil-free foundation. "Foundation is one of those areas in the beauty industry that has a big void for women at extreme ends of the shade spectrum,” the performer says. "There’s this middle ground that's covered really, really well. But then if you're very pale or if you're very dark, there aren’t a lot of options. And so, I wanted to make sure that women of all skin tones were covered so they could be included in what I created."
Full-Bodied Foundation Brush ($34): This brush has 140,000 ultra-fine bristles for a soft finish that adheres to your face rather than the brush.
Precision Makeup Sponge ($16): Fans of the Beautyblender will likely be partial to this three-sided sponge, ideal for reaching difficult corners.
Match Stick Matte Skinstick ($25): Meant to conceal, correct, and contour, this handy little guy is available in 20 different hues with magnetized packaging. “They’re magnetic, so they click together and are easy to find in your bag,” Riri shares of her matte match sticks. You can also get them as a Match Stick Trio ($54), which includes two matte blends and one shimmer stick.
Portable Contour and Concealer Brush ($24): Use this with your match sticks to correct, conceal, and cover up.
Match Stick Shimmer Skinstick ($25): The stick-versions of Rihanna's highlighters are a fun way to enhance your look. “You can just collect them, magnetize them, and use them as you please depending on your mood, your outfit, and where you’re going,” she explains.
Portable Highlighter Brush ($24): Like the portable contour and concealer brush for your mattes, this magnetic, portable shimmer brush attaches to your stick makeup to build the perfect sheen.
Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($18): This universal rose shade has a peach-vanilla scent and one goal in mind: “I made it because I wanted the girls to get kissed more,” our girl says. Um, yes please!
Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Girl Next Door/Chic Phreak ($34): With six highlighter duos and two solid options to shop, apply this eye-catching powder just about anywhere. “You can use this on any part of your face — your eyes, your cheeks, your nose bridge, your collarbone,” Rihanna says.
Cheek-Hugging Highlight Brush ($32): Designed with a “shark tooth shape,” this brush lets you snugly hug areas you want to define, like your cheekbones, nose bridge, and brow bone.
Invisimatte Blotting Powder ($32): A key part of Rihanna’s “Fenty Face” routine, the universal, translucent powder absorbs shine to keep you photo-ready. “Every red carpet you see me on, this is my clutch,” she quips. “I hate being greasy or getting caught oily in pictures. We all hate that and this is the cure.”
Portable Touchup Brush ($24): This little bad boy is the perfect match for your blotting powder and features a retractable, easy-to-carry design.
Invisimatte Blotting Paper ($16) and Paper Refill ($10): This refillable, mirrored compact is small enough to fit in your hand and “blot on the fly.”
