What You Need to Know About Riley Rose, Forever 21’s New Beauty Spot
We’ve been hitting up Forever 21 for festival-ready fringe, after-hours buys, and other trending needs for, well, forever now. So when the store announced it was opening a makeup and beauty spinoff shop (with locations coming around the country), we could hardly keep it together! Riley Rose debuted at the Glendale Galleria in California last week, and it’s full of more colorful and fun products than we could dream up. Here are all the deets.
It was designed for the gram’. Riley Rose is the vision of Esther and Linda Chang, the daughters of Forever 21’s original founders. And they are all about keeping millennial shoppers top of mind. So yep, you betcha there’s pink everywhere! Plus neon signs and rose-covered photo walls that beg to be on your feed.
You’ll see brands you know and love. The main draw of shopping at RR are all the great beauty brands you’ll find, like Stila, Essie, Living Proof, and R+Co. But this isn’t just a quick grab and go beauty experience. There are iPads with tutorials and vanity stations around the store so you can get the full skinny on your beauty buys.
You’ll get a peak at new beauty categories. There are a lot of other fun little goodies to be found throughout the space. Keep an eye out for a fridge full of face masks and a “zen den” with bath salts, candles, and bath bombs for all of your Sunday relaxation needs. You know, all the essentials.
So much sweetness. The store even carries yummies from Dylan’s Candy Bar, in case you need a sugary treat while you shop. Um, yes, please!
They’re opening more in 2018. Can’t make it to California to shop? You’ll have to wait just a little longer to shop at Riley Rose. Word is that there will be more stores opening in 2018, but the locations are still TBD. Follow the brand on Instagram for more updates!
