Rooney Mara Doesn’t Want to Be a Part of Taylor Swift’s Squad
It may seem like everyone in Hollywood wants to be a part of Taylor Swift’s famous (or is it infamous?) #girlsquad, but that’s simply not the case. Not only have Tay’s exes been throwing shade at the “Bad Blood” singer (in epic proportions) lately, but her enemies have also kept the feud fires burning, and stars like Demi Lovato have also called out Tay’s group. And she’s not the only one who wants nothing to do with the celeb clique. Apparently, acclaimed actress and super cool gal Rooney Mara has been asked many times to become a Swift squad member and wants nothing to do with it.
“Rooney doesn’t want to be part of anybody’s entourage,” a source told OK about the 31-year-old actress, best known for her lead role in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movies.
The insider added that it wasn’t just one request that was denied, but many. Rooney has continued to evade inclusion in the squad “despite Taylor’s incessant string of invitations to party. She even turned down Taylor’s invite to her July 4th Rhode Island bash.”
We can’t say we’d hate to see Rooney hanging out with such an epic group of gals, but we totally get her desire to not want to be a part of something “entourage”-like.
