Rory and Jess Are Back Together in the New Gilmore Girls Trailer
The first trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life gave us all of the feels and caused a total Twitter meltdown. From Lorelai and Luke appearing to be happily in love to Emily working through her grief, there’s so much to get excited about. But one thing that fans are definitely freaking out over is the fact that the trailer shows Rory and Jess together again.
Rory’s love life is one of the major things fans have been wondering about — with speculation stirring around Rory’s ex-boyfriends, rumors that she might be pregnant with Logan’s baby and even Alexis Bledel commenting on the sitch herself — and we can’t wait to see what Rory’s up to and who (if anyone) she ends up with.
In the first trailer for the four new extended episodes, we get a peek at all three of Rory’s ex-boyfriends: Logan, Dean and Jess. But it’s Jess, played by Milo Ventimiglia (who we recently saw shirtless and dripping wet), that’s back together with Rory in the tiny clip — and fans are freaking out.

With Rory at loose ends, she tells her friend (who’s maybe more?), “I have no job. I have no credit. I have no underwear.”
Jess’s reaction to that little tidbit is priceless, but when Rory desperately says, “I could’ve been a contender,” Jess raises his glass to her and assures Rory, “You’re still a contender.” Love it!
Though there’s no obvious romance happening in the snippet, we can’t help but love seeing these two back together in any way.
