If you thought Bridesmaids actress Rose Byrne and her adorable Boardwalk Empire boo Bobby Cannavale had already hit peak adorableness, you need to reevaluate. The celeb couple, who gave the world a peek into their gorg boho home in Brooklyn, recently welcomed their first child together on February 1, a son named Rocco (love that creative baby name). At the Monday launch event for Samsung’s flagship experience store, Samsung 837 in Manhattan, Bobby revealed the inspiration behind their son’s middle name as well.
Their baby’s name is Rocco Robin, and the middle name is one the newborn shares with his grandpa, Rose’s dad. “His middle name is her dad’s name, Robin, and we liked the way it rang together,” Bobby told People. Paying tribute to grandpa with a family name? That’s just the sweetest. Just four days after Rocco’s birth, Bobby had appeared on Steven Colbert’s show where he was promoting his new Martin Scorcese directed film Vinyl, he told the host, “We’re just really, really over the moon. We’re in bliss right now.”
