Rose Byrne Is Pregnant and Expecting Her Second Child With Bobby Cannavale!
Rose Byrne and BF Bobby Cannavale are growing their family! The actress confirmed in a recent interview that she’ll be giving 18-month-old son Rocco a little sibling, as she’s pregnant with her second child.
“I’m a little tired but feeling good,” she said in an interview with Australian department store David Jones. Byrne and her brother George (an accomplished photographer) were being profiled for the store’s website, and after the photo shoot, she admitted that being pregnant often means getting more attention — which she doesn’t mind one bit.
“Everyone was very sweet on set today,” she said. “You always get a little bit more attention when you’re pregnant, which is fabulous.”
Byrne and Cannavale have been together since 2012 and welcomed son Rocco back in February 2016, giving him the same middle name as Byrne’s dad, Robin. At the time, Cannavale appeared on Steven Colbert’s show just four days after little Rocco Robin’s birth and said, “We’re just really, really over the moon. We’re in bliss right now.”
While both Byrne and Cannavale have impressive film and television résumés of their own, the actress told David Jones that she doesn’t necessarily have Hollywood visions for her own kids.
“I remember doing the film The Rage in Placid Lake years ago with Ben Lee, about the kid who rebelled against his bohemian parents and became an accountant,” she said. “Maybe my kids will want to do something really different, like run a granola company or become accountants themselves.”
No due date or name details have been given just yet, but you can bet we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears open. Congrats to the growing family!
