Ruby Rose and Urban Decay Are a Match Made in Makeup Heaven
Two of our beauty faves are teaming up for what’s bound to be a kickass collaboration. This morning, colorfully rad makeup brand Urban Decay announced that Orange Is The New Blackactress Ruby Rose will be their new spokesperson. But an edgy gal like Rose, whose professional history also includes roles like DJ and former MTV VJ, can’t have a regular ol’ title like “spokesperson.” Nope: Rose’s new title will be “Most Addictive New Vice.”
Rose’s gig with Urban Decay is simple.
“Just to keep on rocking our world and spreading the gospel of our self-expression, addiction to color, and ‘beauty with an edge,'” says Urban Decay founder Wende Zomnir in a press release announcing the collaboration.
“Urban Decay believes in supporting individuality and personal self-expression — two values I hold very dear — because everyone deserves the freedom to explore their personality and discover their true selves,” says Rose.
But Urban Decay isn’t revealing too much too soon about their union with the androgynous beauty. We’re going to have to wait a little longer to find out when they’ll let us throw all of our money at them.
“Better things come to those who wait — all will be revealed in time,” says Zomnir.
