From ugly sneakers to PVC and plastic accessories, this year has already seen its fair share of head-turning style moments. Word on the street is that the Seinfeld-approved "puffy shirt" is slated for a major comeback. Known for OTT frills and billowy sleeves, the style appeared on the fifth season of the popular '90s sitcom and has never been more in vogue. Cue the pomp and circumstance with one of these 17 souped-up, summer-approved blouses that capture the spirit of Jerry Seinfeld's once beloved puffy shirt.
Dôen Luca Top ($170): This ethereal dusty rose blouse, complete with cascading ruffles, is the pièce de résistance that nobody saw coming.
Staud Fair Top Stripe ($175): 'Cuz retro candy stripes make everything 10x more fun, including the first pool party of the season. See you in Malibu, babe.
Katya Dobryakova Sharp Zigzag Ornament Crop Shirt ($229): Crop 'n' go with this Aztec embroidered top featuring a cinched tie-waist and a laid-back feel.
H&M Ruffled Blouse ($35): Jerry called: He wants his pirate shirt back. We wouldn't be able to pass up those fanciful frills either.
Just Female Rui Shirt ($138): Pair this ruffled button-down with black windowpane culottes and streamlined penny loafers for an afternoon at the boardroom.
Palomo Lace Shirt ($595): The Pierrot collar is officially having a moment, and we're here for it. We'd swipe right for the pretty lilac hue too.
Rebecca Minkoff Feri Top ($128): We're ready for happy hour when you are. Usher in rooftop season with a sexy OTS top that's as big on drama as it is flounce.
Zara Top With Pleated Puff Sleeves ($50): Rock this voluminous jewel tone blouse en route to the club with statement-making resin earrings to bring your totally rad '80s look into 2018.
Monki Puff Sleeve Blouse ($56): Massive puff sleeves, we're coming for you.
For Love & Lemons Bette Open Back Blouse ($131): Too much flounce? No such thing when you're the Queen of Romance.
Nice Martin Iris Blouse ($100): Master Shakespearean prose in this stunner.
& Other Stories Ruffled Blouse ($65): Purple out with this ultra-frilly polka dot blouse in Pantone's 2018 color of the year.
Front Row Shop Multi Wear Puff Sleeve Blouse With Scrunched Corset ($79): Get your ish together with this über-femme blush corset blouse that's totally not messing around.
Karen Walker Rosalie Ruffled Top ($305): Make like Marie Antoinette in this Versailles-inspired top that incorporates all of our favorite things: ruffles, bows, and endless romance.
Nasty Gal Sashay Away Hun Off-the-Shoulder Top ($50): BRB, taking style cues from our fave salsa dancer emoji and going for the cha-cha-ready top. Striped bell bottoms à la the '70s to go with, please.
LOÉIL Victorian Top ($112): It was mint to be. Tuck this silky blouse — notice the cutout sleeves, natch — into some loose-fitting work trousers for around-the-clock slayage.
Reformation Maple Top ($128): Cool girl alert! When even Reformation is onboard with puffed sleeves, you know you've struck sartorial gold. Test-drive this smocked top with espadrilles and high-waisted mom jeans for a high-profile lewk.
