The “Run The Rock 2020” Committee Seriously Wants Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to Run for President
The idea of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson becoming our next president might seem farfetched, but it’s actually becoming more of a possibility with every passing day. The actor himself has said that a run for public office is not out of the question, and now a “Run The Rock 2020” campaign has kicked off with the hopes of, er, ROCKing the vote.
A fellow by the name of Kenton Tilford officially filed “Run The Rock 2020” with the Federal Election Commission this past weekend, supporting a potential candidate listed as Dwayne Douglas Johnson. Yep, The Rock himself.

While there’s no evidence of any connection between the celeb and this new committee — according to Mashable, the Federal Election Commission filing says the campaign isn’t authorized — it’s clear some people think that the man who helped take the Fast & Furious franchise all the way to the top might be able to do the same for our country.
If he ever does decide to run, we already have some idea of how he might approach the job. “Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important,” he told GQ. “Leadership would be important. Taking responsibility for everybody. [If I didn’t agree with someone] on something, I wouldn’t shut them out. I would actually include them. The first thing we’d do is we’d come and sit down and we’d talk about it.”
