As great as they look on the beach, bikinis aren’t exactly the most comfortable of clothing choices — who among us hasn’t spent the day pulling skimpy fabrics down or readjusting a rogue strap? Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio seems to have figured out a new way to combat a bikini top that just won’t stay put… though her method definitely looks a bit wacky!
The Portuguese stunner, who’s currently enjoying a tropical year-end getaway in Riviera Maya, Mexico, has been posting plenty of envy-inducing photos from her first days in paradise, but it was the paparazzi shot of Sampaio posing for a photo shoot on the beach in Playa del Carmen over the weekend that had our full attention.
While it wasn’t unusual to see her in some itty bitty swimwear, her triangle top that had us seriously scratching our heads since it was actually flipped upside down.

In a move that was clearly no accident, the model tucked the neck strap of her all-white suit top into the back strap, which she tied in the usual manner, holding the bottom for extra support (though alternate shots published by InStyle showed her letting it hang free).
Honestly, we don’t think it’s a half bad idea: It certainly takes away the fear of underboob! Who knows? Perhaps upside down bikini tops could be the big beachwear trend of 2018!
