It’s official: The celebrity spring makeovers are in full swing. Yesterday Julianne Hough took to Instagram to show off her fresh new cut. Bella Throne also recently ditched her trademark red locks for “brownie hair.” The newest celeb to show off a style switch-up? Why, that’d be Ms. Sarah Hyland. The Modern Family actress snapped this selfie yesterday showing off a dark, new freshly shorn bob.
Sarah captioned her photo, “Hello from the darker side.” While the cut isn’t too much shorter than what she was previously rocking, the color is certainly new. Spring hair transitions typically tend to lean heavily on the lighter side, so it’s refreshing to see the rules broken from time to time. At first glance, Sarah’s hair might look raven colored, but it’s actually a dark chocolate shade.
And chocolate hair is the perfect term for this hue. Nikki Lee, Sarah’s stylist, has also shared the new look on her page, and dubbed her color creation, “textured truffle.” BRB, just headed into our kitchen cupboard to look for some spring hair inspiration.
