Sarah Jessica Parker Just Slayed the Red Carpet in a Fringe Dress Carrie Bradshaw Would Applaud
Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t need a third Sex and the City movie to pull off a total Carrie Bradshaw on the red carpet. Just hours after the sad news broke that their franchise wouldn’t be continuing on with yet another sequel, its leading lady stepped out for a night of ballet looking every bit the fashion heavyweight that she is.
While she left her infamous pink tutu at home, Parker, 52, still managed to slay in a gorgeous navy blue custom Monse gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a skirt made up entirely of swinging fringe: Ooh la la!
She gave her fans a sneak peak of her gown prior to its assembly, letting a handful of sparkly material fall from her ring-covered fingertips and writing, “This is what I’m wearing to the @nycballet fall gala tonight.”
The Divorce actress, who is on the ballet’s board of directors, paired the look with strappy heels, a matching satchel-clutch, and a chic chignon, proving she’s *definitely* still the reigning queen of style.
Looks like everyone’s favorite SATC character will live on, after all, if only through her RL alter ego.
