Zayn Malik was forced to cancel his first ever solo show sans 1D (and all the group’s amazing fan support) after a crippling bout of anxiety, taking to Twitter to apologize to his fans.
Joining a slew of celebrities who have come forward to speak out on living with depression and anxiety, Zayn explains that, in this instance, his anxiety simply overcame him and expresses his desire to make it up to his fans.

One fan in particular made it clear that she had his back — his on-again girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. Sharing a super sweet response to her man for the world to see, Gigi speaks to how proud she is of her mate for speaking his truth, saying that the fans who choose to react with empathy are the ones who deserve to watch him continue to grow as a performer.
