Selena Gomez Has the Sweetest Take on Taylor Swift’s New Relationship With Joe Alwyn
Selena Gomez has proved again and again that’s she’s a fantastically solid friend, not only coming to Taylor Swift’s defense when celeb-fueled feuds get nasty, but also feeling the love for her bestie’s new romance with boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
While sitting down with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up Monday, host Nicole Ryan boldly (yet in a roundabout way, natch) inquired about the “Bad Liar” singer’s own boyfriend, The Weeknd, AND Swift’s new fella, saying, “Both of you have some new things going on in your lives. You have some new people in your lives. Have you gotten a chance to hang out together with your new people?”
As rumors around Tay and Alwyn are buzzing harder than ever after the two were spotted enjoying some time together in Nashville this past weekend, Gomez could have had plenty of tea to spill, but instead ignored it and responded with a cheeky, “I hang out with my new person a lot.” But she knew that she wouldn’t be able to leave it there and added a few thoughts on Swift’s new relationship by saying, “Honestly, if my friends are happy, that makes me happy. That’s all I care about. So, I’m super stoked too. It’s been a good time.” So sweet!
