Now You Can Shop Kate Middleton’s Fave Maternity Brand
Kate Middleton is no longer rocking a baby bump, but her impeccable maternity style will live on in our hearts forever. From the perfectly elegant wrap dresses to the sleek coats, the Duchess of Cambridge sure knows how to dress well during pregnancy. Most of the credit for Kate’s spot-on looks definitely belongs to the team that helps style her, but the London-based maternity brand Seraphine also had a little something to do with it. The Duchess turned to Seraphine’s pieces multiple times during both her first and second pregnancies – remember that knotted fuschia dress or the floral printed frock? If you want to copy Kate’s expecting style, we have some good news for you: The UK label is making its way stateside.
According to Fortune, Seraphine’s owner Cecile Reinaud is currently in the middle of launching her second store in NYC and plans to open 10 more in the US over the next three years. This is a big step forward for their brick and mortar presence in the country, though they’ve been available online and sold through Nordstrom and A Pea in the Pod for some time now. But we all know that it can be a huge help to try things on in person, especially when a baby bump is involved.
Kate is the celeb most commonly tied to the maternity brand, but it has also been seen on ladies like Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, Coco Rocha and Gwen Stefani. Here are a few of our favorite celeb-approved styles from the line.
1. Black Zip Detail Dress ($117): Need a simple LBD that’s perfect for a nice dinner date or the office? Try this number that was also spotted on Gwen Stefani.
2. Pink Fuchsia Knot Dress ($89) Perhaps the most recognizable Seraphine dress Kate has sported, this knotted number was featured on the cover of People shortly after George was born.
3. The Bump Kit ($149): If you’re looking for the most practical way to rock the label while pregnant, here’s the best option for you. Follow in Coco Rocha’s footsteps and grab this kit that includes a maternity skirt, a white tank with added support, maternity leggings and a shift dress.
4. Graphic Maternity Dress ($99): This printed number was worn by both Carrie Underwood and Coco Rocha, and it’s no surprise why. The abstract print paired with the sleek silhouette creates one stunning combo.
