It’s been over 20 years since Sex and the City first graced our screens, but we still watch reruns on the regular. We can't get enough of the complex and juicy story lines between Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha, but let’s be real, it’s the fashion that lures us in most. Come on, who didn’t idolize Carrie’s eclectic and trendsetting wardrobe? After binging the series for the millionth time recently, we realized that many of her ensembles are just as relevant today. To prove it, we’re showcasing the Carrie Bradshaw looks featuring trends currently popular on the runways and among the street style set. Keep scrolling for nine ways to channel and shop like the ultimate style icon.
Snakeskin Boots: You basically can't scroll through Instagram without seeing a fashion girl in snakeskin boots this season. Well, Carrie was clearly on to something with her knee-high boots from season 3 of the show. (Photo via Paramount Pictures/Getty)
Mango Snake-Effect Ankle Boots ($80): Wear these to work, on the weekends, and everywhere in-between.
Logo Bags: We're starting to reach peak logo mania with tastemakers donning accessories emblazoned with designer logos—à la Carrie with her famous Dior bags. (Photo via Getty)
Gucci Dionysus Super Mini Printed Bag ($780): This stunner is certainly an investment piece, but you'll use it for years and years.
Modern Suiting: Power dressing is here to stay with designers showcasing a range of bold suits and sophisticated separates like this vest and trousers ensemble. (Photo via Brian Ach/Getty)
Zara Satin-Look Blazer ($70): You'll add instant sophistication to any ensemble with this sleek blazer.
Furry Coats: Carrie wore a range of furry outerwear throughout the series, and the plush toppers have continued to be a favorite among the style crowd as well. (Photo via James Devaney/Getty)
ASOS DESIGN Faux Fur Coat ($119): The perfect finishing touch to any winter getup.
White Ankle Boots: While black ankle boots will always be in style, it's the white iterations like Carrie's here that have taken over the fashion world in the last few seasons. (Photo via Jean Baptiste Lacroix/Getty)
Sam Edelman Kinzey Boots ($98): The lower heel makes these ankle boots even more comfortable.
Bold Florals: Eye-catching floral prints like Carrie's dress have always been around, but they took over the runways in an even more impactful way for spring 2019. (Photo via James Devaney/Getty)
Maeve Floral Patchwork Dress ($160): Just imagine this pretty dress for one of your upcoming weddings.
Cropped Jeans: While skinnies are a wardrobe staple, it's the straight-leg cropped jeans (like this pair here) that people are embracing more and more. (Photo via Tom Kingston/Getty)
Levi’s Wedgie Straight Jeans ($49): Fashion girls can't get enough of these modern straight-leg jeans.
Leopard Print: If there's one pattern that took last season by storm and continues to dominate, it's leopard. While Carrie's look features a pop of the print on her sleeves, women are embracing the trend in even more eye-catching ways with spotted heels, coats, skirts, and more. (Photo via Bill Davila/Getty)
Blank NYC Leopard Faux Fur Jacket ($228): Make an instant statement all season long with this spotted coat.
Mirrored Sunglasses: We all probably remember Carrie's iconic shades from SATC 2. Well, it seems just about every brand and designer out there carries similar mirrored versions right now. (Photo via James Devaney/Getty)
Urban Outfitters Candie Extreme Cat-Eye Sunglasses ($18): These sunnies are equal parts practical (hello, sun protection!) and fashion-forward.
