Shay Mitchell is known for her lush dark locks, and although she plays around with lighter colors, we’ve gotten used to her long, brunette look. Now that Pretty Little Liars is over and she’s working on other projects, she’s given her dark locks a drastic blonde balayage update, and brunettes can take note.
Over the weekend, Mitchell posted a series of photos on her Instagram in which the ordinarily brunette starlet sports some seriously flaxen locks.
“Shayoncé for the day,” she captioned one of the pics. Okay, so we know she was only sporting the look for just one day to film a secret project. It’s likely the hair was just a wig — but we can’t deny her resemblance to Queen Bey herself is quite uncanny.
Frankly, we think Mitchell should consider making the change permanent! We’re adding her balayage look to our stack of inspo. Now to make a hair appointment…
