These Duct Tape Slap (Snap?) Bracelets Are ALL THAT!
Update: This post was part of our 2014 April Fools’ Prank. But, you know the ’90s are always in style so keep on scrolling to keep the angsty/sparkly dream alive ;)
Ready to get yer snap on? If you’ve got a boring old snap (or is it slap?) bracelet that needs an update, then this is the tutorial you need. All you need is a the right roll of duct tape. We obvs went with peace signs, rainbows and neon green.
Sidenote: We had an office debate about whether these are called slap or snap bracelets — what do you call them? Get at us in the comments below.
Materials:
– old snap bracelets
– colorful duct tape
Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of duct tape that’s the same length as your snap bracelet.
2. Attach the tape to the bracelet.
3. Trim the edges off. And slap that thang on!
We found these slap bracelets at a souvenir shop in downtown SF. Can you believe duct tape comes in such relevant patterns?
The instructions are as easy as, cut, stick on, trim and SLAP.
Voila!
We made another one in green.
And one with this cool scalloped rainbow pattern.
It’s too hard to decide a favorite.
So we’ll wear all three! :)
