Winter is coming, and no, it’s not a new season of Game of Thrones. As the temperature starts to dip, we all need something to keep us warm. And frankly, there are few things better than a comfy, cozy throw blanket. If you’re looking for a new winter snuggle partner, Slowdown Studio, the brainchild of LA designer Marc Hendrick, has released a series of woven textiles just in time for the change in seasons.
Each blanket is designed by talented artists from the UK (Tom Abbiss Smith and Marcello Velho) and USA (Kevin Umaña and Kristin Texeira). And since there are limited quantities available for the four new blankets, every piece is basically an original work of art.
The blankets, which cost $230, are soft enough for cuddling up on a chilly winter morning, but also durable enough for outside of the house. Take it camping, on a long car ride, or anywhere else that you may want to be perfectly snug.
