This Crazy Brownie Recipe Is Three Desserts in One
Let’s get serious: It can be hard to choose one type of dessert when the whole world is filled with so many mind-blowing, delicious options. While you may want a salted caramel cookie, you could also be yearning for a decadent brownie recipe at the same time. Can we blame you? Absolutely not. So how do you choose when they both sound so amazing? Well, thankfully we live in a world where there are endless possibilities when it comes to food, which lets us introduce you to the best brownie ever. Seriously, it’s going to knock your socks off. The Sexy Brownie (as we like to call it) might sound provocative due to its name, but its trifecta layers of Oreo, chocolate chip cookie and brownie deserves an R-rated label. Don’t believe us? Well, give this recipe a try this weekend, and just wait ’til your stomach explodes with happiness. Bonus: We even fancied-up the cookie dough. You’re welcome.
Ingredients:
— 16 Funfetti Oreo cookies
— a pinch kosher salt
— 1 box brownie mix
— 1 pound cookie dough
— 1 1/2 – 2 Tablespoons dulce de leche
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Spray a 9×9-inch metal square pan with non-stick cooking spray.
3. Make the brownie mix according to the instructions on the box.
4. Cut the cookie dough in half and spread the dulce de leche in the middle. Lightly fold cookie dough.
5. Take the dulce de leche cookie dough and spread it evenly in the pan until it touches all sides, then sprinkle salt over the top.
6. Place 16 Funfetti Oreo cookies over the cookie dough.
7. Take the brownie batter and layer it over the Oreos and cookie dough until it completely fills every nook and cranny. (You might not have to use the whole brownie mix.)
8. Place the pan into the oven and let it cook for around 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when you check.
9. Once you take it out of the oven, let it completely cool before you cut.
10. Cut into one-inch squares to serve.
Make the brownie mix according to the instructions on the box and put it to the side.
Cut the cookie dough in half and spread the dulce the leche in the middle. Lightly fold cookie dough to mix the two ingredients together.
Take the dulce de leche cookie dough and press it into the pan until it touches all sides, then sprinkle salt on top. Place 16 Funfetti Oreo cookies on top of the cookie dough. Take the brownie batter and layer it over the oreos and cookie dough until it completely fills every nook and cranny. (You might not have to use the whole brownie mix.)
Once you take it out of the oven, let it completely cool before you cut. Slice one-inch squares to serve.
