We’ve almost made it a year of living this lifestyle. Running our business from home while living in this canvas bad boy has been the most stressful thing about it. It’s the best worst thing we’ve ever done. The tent usually becomes my packing area, so we have boxes stacked up like towers. and what are towers good for if your 3? Climbing obviously. Half the time I can’t find anything I need(not sure where it hides in a tiny home) and having the boys constantly around while trying to get things done test my patience more than watching Home Alone 3(yes it exist). The boys think my drill gun is only good when they’ve sucked the battery dry and left it in the mud. The amount of screwdrivers, measuring tapes and drill bits we’ve sacrificed to the “2ft tall grass gods” would probably pay our weekly grocery bill. But I see photos like this, and we’d have to be out of our minds to not have gone through with it all. • • • #vsco #photography #makemoments #feedyoursoul #livingtinyproject #myhousebeautiful #myhome #mydecorvibe #sustainable #howyouhome #wanderlust #everydayibt #currenthomeview #minimallife #stellarspaces #walltent #offgrid #tinyhome #tinyhouseliving #flashesofdelight #blogger #livesimply #vsco #myhousebeautiful #myhome #sustainable #minimallife #glamping #family

We didn’t have a ton of room in the budget for boat renovations (we set aside about $2K) so we had to get creative! You can read all about how we transformed our tiny home on a tight budget on my blog (link in bio). ⚓️ • You’ll find tons of #beforeandafters and links to all the stuff we bought to brighten up our space (mostly from @target). And I know we’re biased, but we love how it turned out! 😍 • Swipe 👉🏼 to see a before shot of our living room 🙌🏼 • We didn’t change the footprint of the boat at all, and we still have our eye on some kitchen and bathroom upgrades. But for now, we think The Catalina Wine Mixer is just perfect ❤️🛥🌊

“I could call that place home.” 🏡 I wanted a big sink that I could wash PA in, subway tile backsplash, and a butcher block island. I wanted white walls and lots of light to come in. It didn’t take us long to make this little place feel like home. 💧 I take it for granted until I get messages like the one I just received: she told me her husband wanted them to go tiny and she didn’t think she could until a friend told her about our Instagram and then she said “I could call that place home.” 🏠 My prayer for you, our followers, is that you would see a normal family making a tiny place their home. I pray you can picture yourself living this life as a means for whatever your heart desires: to be debt free, to travel the US, to save for a sticks and bricks home! I pray you don’t think there’s anything special about us but you see two people (PA doesn’t have a choice 😉) just being obedient to what we are called to-as you should too! _ LJ
