Snaps to Our First Lady: Michelle Obama Is Now on Snapchat

The coolest FLOTUS of all time just proved that she knows how to get down with the youth vote: Michelle Obama is now officially on Snapchat. Announced via Twitter yesterday, Michelle’s Snap Story draws back the curtain on what happens every day at the White House. The first lady’s story already contains behind-the-scenes looks at her daily schedule and even a celebrity appearance. (She knows how to make a social media debut.)
On her first day of Snapchat alone, Michelle made quite a splash. She met with James Corden and did some Carpool Karaoke. Then she introduced the world to her mentees.
She’s even got a rad “first lady” geofilter. Now that’s #girlboss status. As Michelle continues to take us around the White House, we’re eagerly awaiting the first appearance from her husband, but even if he doesn’t appear, Michelle will have a star-studded Snapchat. Next week, the First Lady heads to Africa and Europe to promote her Let Girls Learn initiative with the Peace Corps. She will travel to Liberia, Morocco and Spain along with Meryl Streep and Freida Pinto. (Eeeeek!)
