Sofia Vergara Helped Her Wedding Guests Avoid a Hangover with an IV Station
Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello’s nuptial celebration was 100% a celebrity wedding for the books. Between Joe‘s sexy serenade during the rehearsal dinner, Sofia’s dual layered wedding dress and all super luxe wedding decor details, the two really went all out to celebrate their union. So, you can bet that for a wedding this extravagant drinking was part of the equation. And when you gift a wedding guest free drinks, a slew of hangovers are sure to follow. To make sure that wasn’t the case, it appears as though Sofia and Joe had an IV truck to their wedding.
When Sofia’s Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen recently appeared on Ellen she told the talk show host, “If you’ve ever been to a Sofia event, it’s three days. It’s like a slow-moving trolley: You jump on, you drink and you dance and then you jump off. You can’t stay on the trolley for three days,” Bowen explained. “It’s a party train. It’s insanity. And it’s really fun.”
Ellen then asked Julie about the IV truck she’d heard rumors about. “You had to hydrate,” the actress said. “They had a little ambulance truck, an IV station where you could go get IV hydration.” She goes on to explain that on the last day, the truck was outside of the pool area where everyone was hanging out. Julie says, “There were people sipping espressos getting IV rehydration. Apparently, there is nothing you can do in three days that can’t be undone by some IV rehydration.” Well folks, if you’ve ever wondered how celebs party all night and then show up looking flawless on TV the next day, it looks like the secret may have just been revealed.
