If you thought it was an unwritten rule to go darker for fall, think again. The latest celebrity to make the case for going platinum blonde is none other than Solange Knowles.
Solange has always been a style chameleon, but in recent years, she’s largely rocked her natural hair. But she just debuted beachy blonde braids at a New York Fashion Week performance. The “Rise” singer performed at the Maryam Nassir Zadeh fashion show yesterday, showing off a new platinum makeover, which she styled in super-long braids and twists, accented by beads. She let her new blonde hair steal the show, looking casual and cool in a long-sleeved gray crop top, wide-legged black pants, and beige heels.
She accessorized with vintage black cat-eye sunglasses, massive hoop earrings, and a few rings, sticking to her signature effortless style for her performance.
