These Preppy Shoes Just Got a Majorly Creative Upgrade
If you’re ready to kick winter to the curb, we suggest you do it in a new pair of shoes. Like, I don’t know, maybe these new Sperry shoes, which have gotten a much-needed upgrade with a super creative kick; they’re printed with acclaimed photographer, Gray Malin’s gorgeous, beachy photographs.
The classic, all-American shoe company has teamed up with the LA-based photographer – who is known for taking aerial photos of beach-goers and imaginative snaps of everything from balloon-covered llamas and multicolored goats – on a stunning new spring line.
While there aren’t any slip-ons featuring balloon-covered llamas (a major oversight if you ask us) you will find shoes printed with colorful shots of the ocean over Cape Town, South Africa, beach-goers in Lisbon, Portugal and a black-and-white beach moment from Italy. Okay, we’re really ready for that sunny vacay now.
The collab consists of four styles in total – three of which are unisex and one that is just for women. While past Sperry collaborations have come in at almost $100 a pop, these sneaks are slightly more affordable. The cheapest options are the women’s Seacoast Sneaker and the ocean-printed slip-on, both of which come in at just $70. The black-and-white lace-up sneaker is selling for only $5 more. Prepare to shell out the most cash for the classic boat shoe, which comes in at $88 a pair.
We had Taylor Swift’s new line of Keds pegged as our go-to warm weather sneaker, but this has us seriously rethinking our options. Ah well, it looks like the only solution is to get both.
