The Spice Girls Are Reportedly Doing a Full Reunion Tour in the US and UK
UPDATE (February 10, 6:12 pm): Sorry, Spice Girls fans — Despite our original report below, Victoria Beckham has just confirmed to British Voguethat the Spice Girls will not, in fact, be going on tour after all. “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour,” she told the outlet during a preview for her autumn/winter 2018 fashion line. While she said it was “lovely” to see her former bandmates, she made it clear their recent meetup was not to discuss plans for a tour, saying, “There’s something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for. What is that in the future? What does that look like? We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming. But this [her fashion line] is what I do.”

Just a few days after sharing a huge tease of a reunion photo, the Spice Girls are reportedly closer than ever to OFFICIALLY announcing a reunion tour.
TMZ reports that all five of the original ‘Girls’ — Mel B. (Scary Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Melanie C. (Sporty Spice) — are on board for a jaunt that will take them to the UK and the US in late summer 2018.
The meeting where last week’s photo was taken reportedly happened with their former manager, music and media powerhouse Simon Fuller, and was held to help hammer out final details.

Of course, fans of the ’90s girl-power group might be reluctant to get too excited just yet, as a reunion tour has been rumored for years. This is, however, the first time we’ve seen the women all back together, and according to reports, after initial holdouts from Posh and Sporty, all five members are now on board and ready to do it all again.
Sadly, TMZ reports that the girls will not be recording new music at this time. Along with the tour, though, they are rumored to be reuniting to promote a greatest hits release, as well as to be involved with other “merchandising” opportunities. In the recent words of Baby Spice — the “future is looking spicy” indeed!
