Starbucks Just Debuted an Iced Piña Colada Tea Infusion
Fans of Starbucks’ special drinks often have to covet some of the tastiest-sounding concoctions from afar. Japan had the cherry pie frapp earlier this year, and fans in the Philippines got their hands on the Pop’zel, a frapp topped with popcorn and pretzels. Well, stateside fans, rejoice — because we have been blessed with an alcohol-free Piña Colada Tea Infusion, and it’s getting a home on the permanent menu.
Having launched their summer-in-a-cup Teavana fruit infusions earlier this month, the coffee chain has taken one of their biggest summer hits, the Pineapple Black Tea, and added creamy coconut milk to create the Teavana® Iced Piña Colada Tea Infusion. It’s like “summer in a cup, all year long,” according to Starbucks’ website.
With the ability to mix and match your tea infusions, and also add lemonade, this latest menu addition is giving us all sorts of ideas. You could add coconut milk to your Strawberry White Tea for a strawberries and cream flavor, or to your Peach Tea for a dreamy peaches and cream beverage. The possibilities are endless.
