There Are Two New Frappuccinos at Starbucks… and They’re Here to Stay
Even if you’re a loyalist to your favorite caffeinated beverage, it’s hard to deny the allure of Starbucks’ ever-changing menu options, including the secret Frappuccinos that brighten up our Instagram feeds. From the color-changing Unicorn Frapp of last year to the more recent Caramel Pretzel Frappuccino we dreamed of sipping on, the coffee chain is constantly bringing us insanely sweet treats to enjoy. But for the first time in years, the company is scaling back on limited-edition Frappuccinos, instead giving us two new additions to the menu… and the best part is, they’re sticking around for good.
Beginning today, May 1 at Starbucks locations nationwide, you can choose from the new Triple Mocha Frappuccino or the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino, taking the classic flavors we know and love to the next level. And it’s all thanks to a brand new offering: Sweet Cold Brew Whipped Cream. According to Starbucks, this new whipped cream is a blend of “cold brew coffee, dark caramel sauce, and white chocolate mocha sauce,” which can be added to any hot or iced drink for 50 cents. “Both Frappuccinos start with a layer of Sweet Cold Brew Whipped Cream infused with cold brew, white chocolate, and dark caramel, topped with a swirl of either dark caramel sauce or dark mocha sauce,” explains Starbucks in the release.
But that’s not all: In addition to the two new Frapps, the brand has a new vegan Macadamia Oat Cookie for an extra sweet treat to get you through your day.
Last but not least, on Thursday May 3, Starbucks Happy Hour returns, so you can try out the new blended bevs at half price in participating locations.
