These Photos of Crazy Storms Are Incredible
Most people run inside (and in some cases, hide) when they see a storm a-brewin’. But not this Wyoming-based couple. Photographer Nicolaus Wegner and his wife Doaw are basically storm chasers, though they say they’re not and don’t care to be. But when they see one forecasted in the news, they head toward it in their car, wait for it to get close and then jump out to pose and snap photos. The results are pretty epic.
For those of you who are freaking out about the safety of this situation, fear not. The Wegners have plenty of escape routes planned, though they’ve never been worried about getting caught in a storm. Instead what they find are unique compositions that represent human forms juxtaposed with chaotic nature.
When they’re not playing roulette with Mother Nature, the couple shoots weddings together. And if our wedding pictures could end up being this dramatic and beautiful, consider them booked for our very own nuptials.
