This “Stranger Things” Season 2 Viewing Party Is an Eleven Out of 10
Oct 18, 2017
The time has finally come for the second season of Stranger Things! Ahead of the premiere on October 27 on Netflix, prep your home for the ultimate viewing party. Be warned: There will be lots of Eggo waffles on hand.
Find inspiration from Joyce Byers' alphabet wall and cut colored Christmas lights from cardstock. Hot glue them to black yarn, then tie them to a blown up balloon. Then paint the alphabet on each and let dry.
Ok, no Stranger Things party is complete without Eggo Waffles. Give the breakfast staple an upgrade with caprese or avocado and ricotta versions. Are avo waffles the new avo toast?
The Eggo-love continues with these mini Eggo, brownie, and strawberry skewers.
Satisfy every sweet tooth with these Christmas lights cupcakes. Watch out for any messages sent from the Upside Down!
Make sure to have plenty of red wine sangria on hand.
Did you think we were done with the Eggos? Think again! To make the waffle headband, cut two circles from cardboard and glue them together. Then glue yellow felt all around the cardboard. Cut a smaller circle out of a lighter yellow and cut that into a grid. Place the circle pieces on the yellow cardboard to make a waffle pattern and glue. Finally, glue your waffle to the side of a black headband.
If you don't have a sequin mermaid pillow yet, now is the time.
Why be a 10 when you can be an Eleven?

Irene loves all things DIY, especially if the project involves confetti. She strives to make beautiful things that anyone can enjoy. If she's not immersed in crafting she's probably giggling over an insta-famous corgi or frolicking around Disneyland.
