Video: How to Make a DIY Leather Studded Clutch
Hi, I'm Brit, the founder and CEO of Brit + Co. I'm a young mom of two, tech nerd and design-inclined lady who has a zillion hobbies and curious about... just about everything! My mission from the beginning has been to unlock women's creativity and courage to try new things so that they can find the path to their true passions.
It’s no secret that we’re all about studs. We love studding friendship bracelets, adding studs to our kicks, and we even pretend-partnered with Ryan Gosling on Brit + Ryan + Co., so we like those types of studs too ;)
Which brings us to today’s Studded Clutch project! We hit up Target for a basic grey envelope clutch ($25) and got to work with a safety pin, needle nose pliers, and studs. Check out the video above to see how it’s done, and be sure to follow Target’s #SummerUp Pinterest board for more ways to pep up your summer.
The materials for this are simple as can be. You can find needle nose pliers at Target and studs at most craft stores.
What accessories and other wearables do you want to try studding? Tell us in the comments below!
