Sugarfina always knows how to pair two of our favorite things: candy and alcohol. Hot on the heels of its Tito’s vodka-infused candies, the candy company’s giving you something your Cinco de Mayo party absolutely needs: Corona Light-inspired candies.
The candy boutique’s new Sugarfina + The Light Cerveza Collection is its first foray into beer-flavored gummies, and they’re blessing us with two beachy treats. The two offerings include But First, Cerveza ($8), a crisp and refreshing Corona Light-flavored, bottle-shaped gummy, and Here for a Good Lime ($8), a zesty, lime slice gummy. If you want both, you can grab the Corona Light Bento Box ($27), which features the two candies in a fancy gift box with a custom, chrome, lime-shaped bottle opener.
The Sugarfina + Corona Light limited-edition collection launches online today and in Sugarfina boutiques, Nordstrom, and other retailers across the US on May 1. All you need is a splash of lime, and you’re good to go!
In a press release, Sugarfina co-founders Rosie O’Neill and Josh Resnick explained why they wanted to work with Corona, “This is our first beer collaboration, and it was a must to partner with Corona Light. They topped our loyal fans’ list as the ‘sexiest beer,’ so we couldn’t think of a better inspiration than The Light Cerveza combined with a zesty lime essence to create delicious candies perfect for summertime.” We know we’re in favor!
