This Epic Runway Reunion of ’90s Supermodels Will Give You Chills
Step aside, Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid! Five OG supermodels just returned to the runway for Milan fashion week to show the younger models how it’s done, and the world has ended as we know it.
Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, and Helena Christensen reunited for Versace’s spring 2018 show, which honored the 20th anniversary of the untimely death of the fashion house’s creator, Gianni Versace. And the ladies (all now between 47 and 51), SLAYED in coordinating gold chainmail gowns. Like daaaaaaamn, we are collectively dead.

Descending a set of gray stairs, the “Supers,” as legendary MUA Pat McGrath dubbed ’em in her Twitter video, trailed behind Donatella Versace as they strutted side-by-side while clasping hands. This is a moment that’s sure to go down in fashion history and proves the ’90s supermodel is immortal.

Last year, Crawford, Schiffer, and Campbell also did their thing in an ad for Balmain’s spring 2016 collection, as shot by Steven Klein, but to see them in action was another beast entirely. It feels like we’re reliving the past!
And the moment was made even more special with the fact Crawford’s own 16-year-old lookalike daughter, Kaia Gerber, actually WALKED in the show in a smart yellow leopard suit. Welcome back, ladies. We’ve missed you!
