Target’s Marimekko Collection Lookbook Is Straight Out of Megan Draper’s Closet
Well, hello look book for Target’s Marimekko collection: We’ve been waiting for you. Or rather, we’ve been freakin’ drooling with eager pattern-lovin’ anticipation! But luckily, our desires have been totally satisfied with our first glimpse at the stylized selections from one of our fave brands.
And, really, it’s just so awesome. For instance, “Kukkatori, or ‘flower market’ in Finnish, was inspired by the abundance of colorful flowers at a marketplace in the summer. It was designed in 1970.” Yas! Love it!
Or how about, “Okariino, meaning ‘ocarina’ in Finnish, is a rhythmic design which conjures up a variety of images and feelings, chimes and soothing melodies.” YAS! LOVE IT!
And, of course, we can’t leave out, “Melooni, meaning ‘melon’ in Finnish, was conceived in 1963. The geometric ovals of this popular bold print represent a deconstructed watermelon.” YAAAAS! LOOOVE IT!
But that’s just a peek at the plentiful products featuring playful patterns that are too pretty to pass up!
