Target’s New Swim Collection Flatters Every Body Type

Target’s New Swim Collection Flatters Every Body Type

Every body is a beach body, and here to prove it is Target’s latest swimwear campaign featuring the retailer’s Ava & Viv, Merona, Mossimo, Xhilaration, and Shade and Shore. Not only is the message awesome, but the affordable styles are super on trend too.

Featuring lots of bright prints, cutouts, and lace-up details, the body-positive campaign features plus-size model and body image activist Denise Bidot, on-air host Kamie Crawford, pro-skateboarder Lizzie Armanto, and dancer, actress, and YouTube sensation Megan Batoon.

“Target shows women of all shapes, sizes, and colors looking beautiful and confident in themselves and their swimsuits and that resonates with women everywhere,” Crawford said in a press release. “Confidence is contagious!”

“I feel most confident in a two-piece suit with a high waist bottom and a top that fits just right,” said Bidot, who has starred in several body-positive campaigns, including her own: There Is No Wrong Way to Be a Woman. “Once you find that perfect suit that fits just right, it will give you that extra boost of confidence that will make your pool or beach day even better.”

As for YouTube personality Batoon, she says, “I love a good one-piece or a high waist bikini. I feel like they are timeless, classy, and I can eat a full watermelon without the fear of looking bloated. I call that a win-win-win.”

The swimsuit collection is available in stores or online at Target.

Now, who’s buying what suit? We want to know @BritiandCo!
