This Is the One Thing Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris WON’T Be Doing Together
Bad news, Tayvin fans — though the couple is seemingly going stronger than ever (at least if we’re using these PDA snaps showcasing their relationship’s lasting success as any indicator), Taylor’s better half says that for now, at least, one part of their lives will remain very, very separate: their music careers. Despite the fact that she rocked his latest album art as part of her Coachella outfit, the DJ says that when it comes to the possibility of a musical collaboration between the two, we shouldn’t be holding our breath.
Calvin told Ryan Seacrest this morning on the host’s radio show, On Air with Ryan, that while he hasn’t exactly broached the subject with his lady love, “he can’t see it happening.” He also alluded to the fact that Taylor might actually be taking a much deserved (gasp!) “long break” from music for a while. A ha! So that’s where she’s finding the time to take on a potential new X-Men role!
While we’re bummed we won’t be singing along to any passion-fueled duets between the lovebirds anytime soon, we’re loving his brand new collab with Rihanna, This Is What You Came For. And hey, there’s also the promise of what Calvin tells Ryan is a “half track” with Ellie Goulding — that’s something, right?
