We Now Know the Story Behind Taylor Swift’s Mystery Jacket
We had a feeling that Taylor Swift’s Coachella outfit was more than just a unique fashion choice and might be a hint about new music from boyfriend Calvin Harris, and it turns out we were right. But the secret behind the jacket is bigger than we ever could have imagined. We’re talkin’ Rihanna-level kinda big!
The jacket in question appeared in a pic posted to Tay’s super popular Instagram account, and her pose showed off the prominent image of a forest, mountains and sky-splitting forks of lightning. Our pop-culture detective skills then went into overdrive when the very same image appeared on Calvin’s Twitter account as his new avatar and header pic. Our clever conclusion: Taylor was helping to hype her fella’s new music.
We may have been right, but we never could have expected how exciting that music would be. It turns out that the Calvin Harris’ Coachella performance featuring the spectacular Rihanna was just a taste of what was to come.
