Taylor Swift’s First Insta Post Since Kim’s Video Leak Is an Adorbs Tribute to Selena Gomez
Taylor Swift has been pretty quiet since her whole video leak episode with Kim Kardashian West earlier this week: She said her piece via Instagram and she hasn’t returned to say much since. While others have certainly voiced their opinions of the singer post-drams, painting murals depicting the end of her career and doing some handiwork on her Wikipedia page, Taylor herself has remained mum: until now, that is!
As you may or may not recall, Taylor’s BFF Selena Gomez went out on a limb for her bestie when ish hit the fan, receiving plenty of flack in the process herself, and now, Taylor is going the extra mile for her friend in return, returning to social media to post an adorable throwback of the two in happier days.
“Going through old photos today because @selenagomez just turned 24,” Taylor writes. “I can’t imagine life without you Selena. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”
Okay — that’s pretty cute. Regardless of whether or not you’re team Taylor or team Kimye, you’ve gotta’ admit that the way these two stick by one another’s sides through thick and thin is actually really sweet. While we can’t say we’re that shocked — the girls have been friends for a decade, after all — they’re a real live case study in the most loyal of friendships that everyone could probably all stand to take a page or two from.
