Teen Mom’s Maci Bookout Is Officially a Married Woman
Of all the Teen Moms that have captured our hearts over the years with their totally addicting show, one mom in particular, Maci Bookout, has always fascinated us more than any of her pregnant peers.
The most mature 16-year-old we’d ever seen, we followed along as Maci not only faced her newfound responsibilities as a mother, but balanced a college courseload to boot. She went on to not only graduate and find a job in social media, but to find love again, this time with Taylor McKinney, with whom she had two more children.
Now, she’s joining her reality star peer Nikki Ferrell by celebrating her status as a newly married woman!
In what appeared to be something straight out of a fairy tale (complete with horse and carriage), Maci wed her love of three years in Gainesville, Florida in a small and romantic ceremony of 165.
According to US Weekly, the ceremony was made extra special by the fact that Maci’s pastor grandfather officiated, and that the couple wrote and exchanged their own vows.
It was also complete with plenty of personal details, like these awesome blinged-out kicks the bride rocked.
So what’s next for the newlywed? It’s off to the Caribbean for these two crazy kids, now officially husband and wife. “I am so excited, because I don’t use the word ‘fiancé’ because I think it’s kind of silly,” she told US. “So I’m excited to finally be able to call him my husband.”
