Here’s What Happened When Brit Learned How to Color a Teenager’s Hair

In our new video series Sparked, we’re finding creative inspiration in unexpected places and by just trying out new experiences. Last week, we braved the kitchen heat and made surf and turf with chef Michael Mina. This week, we’re taking a new challenge head on, literally, by learning how to do color highlights at a hair salon.
In this episode, Brit heads to Prep Cuts in San Francisco for a beauty school lesson in hair coloring, which is apparently NOT an entry-level skill. We learn about slices, weaves and the evils of box dye; and then we see Brit get her first ever client — a teenage girl. Watch to see how this teen’s new ‘do turned out!
Tune in next week when we go to a farm and hang out with some totally adorable baby goats.
