Watch out for the Halloween costume that will make a big impact with little effort. Known for his superhuman speed and amazing crime fighting capabilities, The Flash is a total badass. You can create his look from a simple maroon body suit and just a touch of DIY flair. Scroll on to see how it’s done.
The Flash Costume
To create The Flash, we purchased a SecondSkin Full Body Suit ($16+) on Amazon. It covers the head completely, so we cut out space for the eyes, mouth, and nose.
Pro Tip: Since The Flash also has maroon boots, we left shoes on underneath the body suit, rather than finding the perfect shoes. For the details of the costume, we used a black Sharpie to make the lines. This is definitely a two-person job, since we drew them once the model was in the costume. Use craft gold glitter foam paper to make bolts on the sides of the head and chest, and glue on gold trim and ribbon for added spark.
