Channel Jackie O. Vibes With The Inside’s Glamorous New Collab
What do Jackie O., Margot Tenenbaum, and the Metropolitan Opera House all have in common? They’re all fans of textiles from American heritage design house Scalamandré. The brand’s swoon-worthy patterns and luxe fabrics have appeared everywhere from the Kennedy White House to Wes Anderson’s films, and they just got *way* more accessible to design-lovers on a budget thanks to a new collab from The Inside.
“Scalamandré is synonymous with gorgeous, high-end design. The brand immediately conjures up Jaqueline Kennedy and the golden age of American decorating,” The Inside co-founder Christiane Lemieux says. “We are thrilled to be partnering with Scalamandré to bring design of this quality to a whole new audience. It is our mission to bring decorating into the digital world, and we could not imagine a better partner with which to start.” The collection includes archival styles from Scalamandré’s storied history, including leaping zebra and cheetah prints, shell motifs, on-trend rattan patterns, and exotic florals. Each print can be combined with The Inside’s range of signature silhouette like headboards, pillows, and ottomans. (Personally, we’re partial to the zebra-print dressing screen, how indulgent is that?)
Though adding one of The Inside’s pieces to your home might not instantly transform it into the Metropolitan Opera House or a Wes Anderson set, we have to admit it’s a step in the right direction. The prints are both quirky and grown-up, making them surprisingly easy to incorporate into a variety of decor styles. Plus, who can resist lounging on a cheetah-clad tuxedo chair? Not us. The full collection ranges from $59 to $1,099 and is available at The Inside now.
