The Obamas’ Final White House Christmas Card Will Make You Weepy AF
If you’re the kind of person who still sends out Christmas cards each year, we feel ya. We love ‘em all — sassy Christmas cards, gorgeous hand-painted cards, even cards for dog lovers — if you want to send it, we’d love to receive it. We’d also love to be on the super selective list of peeps who are lucky enough to get a holiday message from the Oval Office each year. And this year’s offering, the Obama family’s final White House Christmas card, will make you totally weepy.
Signed by Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Malia, Sasha and their pups, Bo and Sunny (we love that the dogs signed the card!), the family poses looking as gorgeous and as happy as ever. The featured pic was taken back in March when the president’s teen daughters attended their first state dinner.
The inside is a little hard to see, but appears to read, “Happy Holidays… As our family reflects on our many happy years spent in the White House, we are grateful for the friends we’ve made, the joy we’ve shared, and the gifts of kindness we’ve received. We wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season and a wonderful new year.”
