The Pussyhat Just Made the Cover of TIME Magazine
Wherever you fall on the spectrum, it can’t be argued that the political arena is in turmoil. Thankfully, women (and men!) are empowering other women (read our founder’s letter here), the science community is taking a stand by starting rogue Twitter accounts and even other countries, like the Netherlands, are stepping in to help. The Women’s March, originally intended to highlight issues that we as women face, has become bigger than we could have ever imagined, and the knitted pink hat worn in solidarity has become its symbol.

The hat is so recognizable, in fact, it just landed on the cover of TIME magazine. Twitter is naturally overrun with reactions, with many people applauding TIME‘s choice…
@womensmarch there are no words to express the pride I have for this historical movement and being apart of it. Thank you!

And while this may be the first cover with the pussy hat, it appears it won’t be the last.

The New Yorker gave a sneak peak of their upcoming issue’s cover. Looks like the beginning of a movement.
