There Are No AirPods Left in Apple Stores Around the World
It seems Apple is always doing controversial things, and this year’s iPhone iterations were certainly no exception. While many people were excited at the prospect of a more powerful phone with a higher quality camera, etc., a lot of people were pretty ticked off at the lack of a headphone jack (thankfully there are ways around that). Now you have the option to either use earbuds that connect via lightning cable or the newly released AirPods — which have their own issues (AKA they’re small and easy to lose, unless you have a strap).
While many people are praising the wireless connection the AirPods provide, many don’t notice a difference in sound quality compared to the regular EarPods. Which begs the question: Why are they sold out globally? Yep, you read that right. According to Isinstock, there are no Apple stores that currently have the AirPods in stock.
For a product that’s getting such mixed reviews, that’s a little surprising. It’s possible that Apple under-produced because the AirPods are a new concept for the company, and you can bet people would be talking about it if the demand wasn’t as high as expected. Whatever the reason, you’ll have to wait if you want to get your hands on those tiny little earbuds. No news yet from Apple on when they’ll be available though.
It’s okay, Apple, we’ll just wait for our phones to be done charging before listening to music.
